What Do You Do On A Saturday?

Well I chop down my roses! These roses were planted when we first moved in. I have 2 very large rose bushes side by side. They are so big now that it looked cluttered. In the begining the 2 roses bushes were small and spaced pleasingly apart, so that it looked real nice in the bed. Well it was turning into a rose jungle. I kept the rose bush I liked best and chopped down the other. I have now got to clear the bed and make it look nice. Plant some small flowers in it's place.

I got a nice bouquet out of all that mess.

Little Boys Having Fun

Connor and best friends playing the Wii in our basement family room. I took so many shots and they all turned out blurry because they were jumping around so much. Can you tell Connor only likes BYU fans?

Two Piggys!

WE HAVE 2 PIGGY'S TODAY! (9 mo)

Clover can say two words now on command (all-done and ah-oh). She is very interested in talking and studies hard at the sounds when I speak. She often mimics me in certain sounds and pitches that she hears. As I understand from Grandma Coltrin, Mason was a very early talker, and it looks like Clover is like him in that way (which does not surprise me, just look at that little Mason face).
Clover loves to play patty cake, and will clap when you tell her "patty-cake". She can find her toes, nose, eyes, and mouth when asked to. (which she has been about to do so for a few months).

Can't believe she will be 1 at Thanksgiving. The year has gone by fast.

First Day for Shelby

The close of one chapter and the opening of another. Yes, I did cry some as she walked away from me and up through those front steps. I remember putting her on the bus in Yuba City to have her go the kindergarten. I cried then as the bus drove off. Shelby is everything I could ask for in a daughter. I just love her so much.
Getting ready for the big day. She got no sleep last night. Before you know it Clover it will be you too someday.
She is turning into a very pretty teenager.

Got her phone in her pocket. We had to turn back home on our way to school, she forgot her phone.

First Game- New Season

The new soccer season started. This year the team is old enough to play with goalies. Connor played goalie for the first time. Well he did play goalie at soccer camp, and he really is good at it. He did a really good job blocking those balls. He will dive for all of them. Mason really enjoys coaching our kids sports. He has been coaching our kids soccer since Shelby was 5. He even got licensed to coach Competitive soccer. Mason is a wonderful coach. He puts everything into it. All the parents love him as coach and ask every year if he will be coaching again. Most of these kids have been with Mason for years.

Clover sees her mom over there and is on her way.

This is the first season the kids are on a very large field. The kids were so tired at the end of the game. I thought Connor might pass out!

Trip To The Hospital

Last night Clover crawled off of our bed. She crashed face first. Her nose was bleeding. The doctor told us to go to the hospital to get checked out. We headed up to Primary Childrens. She is fine. She was up and fussy all night long. Taken in the hospital room.
