Two Piggys!

WE HAVE 2 PIGGY'S TODAY! (9 mo)

Clover can say two words now on command (all-done and ah-oh). She is very interested in talking and studies hard at the sounds when I speak. She often mimics me in certain sounds and pitches that she hears. As I understand from Grandma Coltrin, Mason was a very early talker, and it looks like Clover is like him in that way (which does not surprise me, just look at that little Mason face).
Clover loves to play patty cake, and will clap when you tell her "patty-cake". She can find her toes, nose, eyes, and mouth when asked to. (which she has been about to do so for a few months).

Can't believe she will be 1 at Thanksgiving. The year has gone by fast.

First Day for Shelby

The close of one chapter and the opening of another. Yes, I did cry some as she walked away from me and up through those front steps. I remember putting her on the bus in Yuba City to have her go the kindergarten. I cried then as the bus drove off. Shelby is everything I could ask for in a daughter. I just love her so much.
Getting ready for the big day. She got no sleep last night. Before you know it Clover it will be you too someday.
She is turning into a very pretty teenager.

Got her phone in her pocket. We had to turn back home on our way to school, she forgot her phone.

First Game- New Season

The new soccer season started. This year the team is old enough to play with goalies. Connor played goalie for the first time. Well he did play goalie at soccer camp, and he really is good at it. He did a really good job blocking those balls. He will dive for all of them. Mason really enjoys coaching our kids sports. He has been coaching our kids soccer since Shelby was 5. He even got licensed to coach Competitive soccer. Mason is a wonderful coach. He puts everything into it. All the parents love him as coach and ask every year if he will be coaching again. Most of these kids have been with Mason for years.

Clover sees her mom over there and is on her way.

This is the first season the kids are on a very large field. The kids were so tired at the end of the game. I thought Connor might pass out!

Trip To The Hospital

Last night Clover crawled off of our bed. She crashed face first. Her nose was bleeding. The doctor told us to go to the hospital to get checked out. We headed up to Primary Childrens. She is fine. She was up and fussy all night long. Taken in the hospital room.

Open, Open, Open

Yesterday we went to Shelby's Middle School to find her classes and locker. She is trying to understand how a combo works. Her school is new and the nicest in the whole valley. She is excited to start school on Tuesday.

My Newest Helper

Look who is now helping me do the dishes. Naughty!! (but so cute).

Look What I Found

I found this when I went into get Clover. I was quite startled when I walked into the room. I just was not expecting to walk in and see a little face staring right at me. I knew it was going to be soon to find this, because she has been doing pretty good with pulling up. I had to get Mason to lower the crib.

We just love our baby Clover! She brings so much joy to our family.

Grandma is always teaching gosple principles to her grandkids.

REAL SOCCER

We are huge REAL soccer fans. We took Grandma to a game last night. We had so much fun! Grandma loved it!

Clover was so good and slept through most of it.

Nice Shelby, you little stinker. So today is the last day Grandma is here. We really enjoyed her coming to Utah.

16 Years Married

It has been 16 years today that Mason and I were married in the Salt Lake Temple. 3 kids, 10 homes, several jobs, and many ups and downs, we are still here 16 years later. We have built a good life and a happy home. Sorry for the not-so-great photo, but it was the best I could do...

Grandma update

Today we went to the BYU new art exhibit. Then we went to the Cougareat for lunch. We got home just in time for Connor to come home from school and then they were off to the pool.

LEGWARMERS FOR CLOVER ANN

Cute huh, but I have them on her to protect her knees from rug burns. But these are leg warmers for babies.

Grandma Coltrin Visiting

We are enjoying Grandma Coltrin visiting us from CA. Lovely girls in turquoise...and no this was not planned!!
Shelby and Grandma have gone downtown to Temple Square a couple times to do stuff together. Today they toured Brigham Young's home (the Beehive House) and got lunch.

Here they are in Joseph Smith Building. Afterwards they met Mason for ice-cream and then bought fabric to make Shelby a skirt. Tomorrow we are going to BYU to see a new exibit.

And Off She Goes!!!

Clover is crawling everywhere now. She crawls from room to room and doing it quite quickly now. We can see how happy she is now that she can move about. She is so content being independent. But her knees are getting so rug burned, last night she was in some pain as she tried to go to sleep. That is why I put pants on her today.Clover found herself in a tight spot

Clover's first crawl caught on tape

Part 1 of our Vacation- Oroville

This is what you do in Oroville. Mason and brother Ian
I know I put a few shots of Shelby on here, but they turned out cute. This is at Grandma's house in the yard.

Shelby and Aunt Allysa tossing the ball

Backyard at Grandma's

Connor loved playing with cousins that he did not know he had. He said it was one of the best part of the trip. Here they are playing with Grandma's legos. They had tons of fun together.

Part 2- Camping

We had alot of fun camping with family. I am sorry that I could not upload more pictures but blogger is acting weird and it would not let me. Facebook has lots more camping pictures if you want to see more of the camping.
My kids say the best part of camping was telling ghost stories at night around the fire.

Shelby with the cousins at the lake.

Part 3... Tahoe Vacation Resort

We stayed in the Marriott Vacation Resort on South Shore Lake Tahoe. This is the view from our balcony. The first day was hot and sunny.
This is us hot tubing on a cold morning, as you can see Clover bundled up.

Our place was like a condo. This is the master bedroom with jacuzzi.

It had a full kitchen, washer and dryer so we did all our stinky camping laundry. It had a large dinning table and fireplace.

This is the kid's room and they had their own bathroom.
